Divine Science, bridging Spirit & Science

 

The above is the 'Statement of Being' from the New Thought school of Divine Science, a classical form of metaphysical Christianity, holding to the omnipresence of Spirit and the laws of creative expression within the divine nature. We compliment such principles to quantum physics in our dialogue below -

Me:  Hi Sol, I took some classes from the New Thought School of Divine Science, founded by Malinda E. Cramer and the Brooks sisters, - some wonderful principles of spiritual thought and living based on the consciousness of the omnipresence of Spirit.....took a Graduate course as an entry level student, learning the fundamentals. Since one of the foundations of the teachings is the omnipresence of 'God', we start with 'God' and end with 'God', since 'God' already is 'all in all',....so this spirit-energy-consciousness-presence' is the absolute reality all pervading to infinity. The school is similar to Christian Science in some of its tenets, but has its own nuance on some particulars and its terminology. In any case, a good foundation for those drawn to metaphysical Christianity as one way to facilitate 'Christ Consciousness' and live the Way the Jesus exampled for us. My summary - excellent,....we begin with the omnipresence of Spirit and by living in harmony with its principles we mirror its image and likeness, being individual expressions of Source..in substance and form. Those of us who prefer a more traditional theology of a personal 'God' can unite with Deity as Father, Mother or Son  (Christ), while also understanding the glory and infinity of Deity also outshines these relations, personalities and forms, for all is ultimately subsumed (outshined) in the omnipresence of Spirit, ever transforming. All comes from the Infinite One and returns to the Infinite One, for the One is All that IS.
